I’ve been been a photographer for over ten years. I was gifted my first camera by my grandfather. Photography is a timeless, therapeutic hobby for me. When I am not shooting with my camera, I enjoy gardening, cooking, playing piano, and envying other travel vloggers on YouTube. My favorite part of travel is how it broadens your perspective, it reveals new ways of thinking and challenges your assumptions. When I travel, one thing I like to do is create a mental time capsule, where I carefully remember all of the sensations and feelings I am experiencing. This allows me to recall my memory well for enjoyment and when I am doing descriptive writing. I’ve been into creative and descriptive writing my whole life. This blog is my first attempt at public writing as an adult. I spent many academic years and two masters degree programs writing for others, now I plan write for fun here!
